Steve Humphrey
Founder and Director
Steve has been a surveyor for over 10 years, including part owning a previous consultancy before branching out on his own to create 1st Choice. Steve's work ethic is reputable and is conveyed in everything he does. With a broad knowledge within the M&E sector Steve's secured many projects, helping with various tenders.
Laura Rands
CAD Designer
As a CAD Designer, Laura completes drawings and designs for our clients. Using software for 2D and 3D designs whilst collaborating with our clients for timelines and budgets. Making sure problems are avoided between the clients and their designs. Laura is great at keeping up to date with the industry and standards we offer.
Nick Metson
Quantity Surveyor/Estimator
Nick has a mechanical background and has been estimating for over 5 years. He has a lot of contacts within the mechanical field which come in handy when making sure he gets the best price for our clients.
Mika Korakianits
PA/Office Manager
Mika is a PA/Office Manager with 1st Choice, organising and scheduling staff diaries and meetings. Managing payments and job tracking making sure we are running more smoothly and quickly throughout each day. She is here to help through admin and staff jobs to help our company grow bigger.
Bradley Seeley
Estimator
Brad is our full time Estimator. He is fully trained in using our measuring software, CostX, which insures he can get all measures completed within a quicker time frame. He is then able to consider all pertinent information about each building project and decide how much it will cost to meet the client's needs.
Jack Humphrey
Apprentice Quantity Surveyor
Jack has 2 years experience at college whilst working with 1st Choice. Since September 2023 he is studying Surveying at Chelmsford University on a 4 year RICS certified Quantity Surveying Course set to complete May 2027. His determination, hard working attitude and good general knowledge of the industry makes Jack a great addition to the company.
Rio Patel
Apprentice Quantity Surveyor
Rio is an apprentice working with 1st choice. He will be due to start university in September 2024. He is a great help to the company to run smoothly and grow bigger and better.
